The Snowballers: Validating idea

The last week's workshop was about finding the value proposition and build MVP. We created a story board to test our MVP and created a questionnaire to test our MVP.  We also created the value proposition.

Throughout the week we circulated the questionnaire and received 22 responses so far. Most of the responses were positive and people gave feedback like ".. please invent something like that" and "at this point a robot to assist my daily chores would be the absolutely awesome".

Our formulated UX goals are:

  • control (by being able to operate with the schedule, setup new events and customize the robot)
  • awareness (by notifying user about upcoming events and other matters)
  • utility (by delivering useful tools and utilities in the robot)
  • emotional stability (by offering stress-relieving activities and conversations via robot)

From the questionnaire and storyboard testing it was clear that people felt to be able to achieve these goals. Thus we will move forward with our concept of creating a assistant robot and create paper prototypes, interactive prototype and visual appearance.

We created our proof of concept presentation and hope to present it next Thursday to see the response of our peers.
