The snowballers are ready to tell you about how the editing video step has proceeded during this week!
First of all we finally completed our physical prototype process, completed with the help of the 3D printer.
Here below we can finally see some pictures of our Robobally and of the special keyboard:
We started with lot of different ideas, but then we decided to divide and to focus the video in the following steps:
- We started from the problems of the stakeholders (and we showed two different problem scenarios)
- Brainstorming to find out a suitable idea to the problems
- Our idea: solution to the problems -> Robobally
- Idea validation (through the use of online services)
- User testing: voice commands
- Special guest for testing
After the first shooting in the university Cafè, we filmed the 3D printing process in TutLab, in order to include also this step in our final video.
Then we proceeded with the filming of user testing, thanks to the help of a student that tested our software for us, and also provide us some feedbacks on the product developed by the Snowballers.
We also tested our product with a special user. But this is a surprise for the friday presentation!
Here below the last picture of the Snowballers team together... or at least just for this project! :)
And at the end of this post we would like to talk a little bit about our team group. We had a really nice experience and we managed to merge the different backgrounds of each member in order to achieve the best results for our team work. We met each other weekly in order to be updated with the work flow and to face the main issues encountered during the project. In particular during the prototype step Pavel was the one that gave to the other two members the main guidelines on how to proceed in this, having more experience in this and in the practical approach to this, Aparajita was able to exploit her software developer skills in order to create the voice command platform and Ilaria to create the model for the 3D printing thanks to the help of a software that she already used in her telecommunication studies. The three different backgrounds of the members were mixed in order to have an efficient multidisciplinary team.
We split our work equally and each of us put effort in this project: for this reason all the three members of the group agreed on splitting the points equally in 5/5/5 each.
